She floated through the sweet warm night on aphrodisiacal flight. The jungle foliage gathered 'round as she drifted slowly down to come upon the rivers reach and settle on the darkened beach. Somehow she never questioned why the thought of him could make her fly and gently float across the sand to be embraced by sturdy hand. Warm water splashed her naked skin as Lovingly she taunted him. Then running, laughing, now to fall and sweetly let him have her all- Abruptly then, suddenly torn into the light of cold gray morn, she started with a sudden jerk I must get up and go to work! Oh, these mornings she must face in such a solitary place!. That sip of coffee slightly burned as haunting memories returned, to be drowned out by morning gray. Then to herself, maybe today. © Copyright 2000 by Christopher Mercon chrismercon@hotmail.com |
