There is a longing in the lagoon where his feet were ever so deliberately put into place. A slow- motion prance moved him to the background music of oceanic cymbals crashing white against distant sand. One sideways glance and he halted in his hunting stance— a frozen image of ice blue beauty and feathery lace parting the morning haze. It seems the memory of his reflection lingers still, dancing on the darkened green. black- striped face, flashing yellow-eyed dream visions of unparalleled grace in this serene and silent scene broken only by water whispers calling out his name. |
