Protected Tweets* or Restricting Your Life
I've been on Twitter since May 2009. I've made a lots of mistakes.
Early on I had 40 accounts and 110,000 followers. But at the time, I was using software that would post the
same messages at random over a period of time to all the accounts. The software was very professional
and worked very well.
Problem was that Twitter thought I was breaking the rules of posting the same message repetitively or
something. Based on the rules as I understood them, I was not spamming. They disagreed and shut down
all my accounts.
After extensive communication and having “learned my lesson,” they gave me back a single account with
just under 8000 of my followers still intact! This was October 2009.
A few months ago, they shut me down again. It was a shocker! I was not breaking any rules I'm aware of.
First I was given the reason of aggressive following and unfollowing. However I don't think I was and argued
the point that the rules are not specific. They are not.
I was given another reason posting perhaps being done by others to my account. As best as I know that
WAS NOT happening. So after about 10 days of me repeating my question, they reactivated my account.
All that is to say I love Twitter and want to see people grow a large following fast. The more communication
across this planet, the better we get along!
Communication and Life-
Life, mankind or humanity specifically, needs to be cause, to make things happen, to conquer the physical
universe. To do this efficiently, we need to cooperate.
As I've written may times, “Life survives best when aiding life in the game of survival”.
Communication is vital to all relationships. Communication is vital in obtaining cooperation.
Should you fail to communicate with your family or employment, you will soon lose that area of life.
War comes about when there are breakdowns in communication. I'll venture an opinion that the
communication breakdowns on national levels are intentionally done and that all wars for profit!
So the nations dies a little. Mankind dies a little more each time. Life suffers due to lack of communication.
When an individual dies, they cease to communicate along normal channels. The dead do not
communicate. Only life communicates, ever!
Twitter-
People who are a bit insane, low toned emotionally, are actually pushing for death of themselves and
everyone else too.
They want to wreck the communication lines between people, between nations. They often see the financial
or some type power as a gain for themselves. Again, they are insane to the degree they stop
communication. See my plan: New Civilization.
I'll venture another opinion (it is a true statement but you must see it for yourself so I'm asserting it as an
opinion). A person is as sane as he is able to communicates. To qualify as communication, it must be
reasonable. War is never reasonable or sane nor are the makers of war, the war mongers, the bankers etc.
Twitter aids people in communicating broadly. Twitter is very pro-survival for mankind (even if they have
vague rules and failed to adequately communicate themselves).
Anything that restricts communication is counter to survival, non-survival. All “national security” we have
simply restricts our ability to communication. All travel results in communication of various types and is
therefore generally a pro-survival activity. Our “security” inhibits travel, inhibits communication and fosters
misunderstandings and ultimately war, my opinion of course!
Protection of Tweets-
Protecting Tweets slows your ability to gain followers. People do not have as much data to decide if they
want to follow you are not and will often simply not request to follow you.
It is my opinion that people protect their tweets out of fear. But what is to fear from someone reading your
140 character tweets? Unless you are posting personal data, I assert/state, there is NOTHING to fear.
Everyone once in a while, I get a character on my lines, a follower or sometimes not, what is low toned and
a bit insane. They attack me overtly/openly or covertly (under cover, to coward to do it in the open).
If I am certain they intentionally are attacking, I block without response. Why respond to the insane, the evil
(insanity=evil)?
If I am a bit uncertain, I send a communication to clarify. I do so politely or that is my intention.
Very often, with some clarification, I am happy with the person and leave the communication line open. If
there's ANY question remaining in my universe, I add to a watch list.
If I again get a communication that is questionable, I block!
Security-
I do not believe protecting your Tweets provides any security at all.
This is especially true if you have other social network accounts. Protecting your tweets doesn't hide
MySpace or Facebook accounts though those can be restricted also. But again, if you're worried about
people reading about you, seeing your pictures, why use social sites?
It's also my opinion that if the data in on the internet, it can be obtained by government and criminals.
Living-
My point is I refuse to allow the insane cowards to cause a restriction on my ability to gain new followers
and to have my material ReTweeted easily.
Protecting my Tweets would be a restriction on my ability to gain new followers and to have my materials
ReTweeted easily.
Protecting my Tweets would be a restriction on my ability to communicate and no my ability to be alive.
I really don't care who reads my tweets. Perhaps I can make a positive change in their life. Even the insane
and criminals can get better.
I do care about the tweets I read. So I don't follow criminals, perverts, psychs, hypnotists, or drug pushers or
others of similar non-survival activities and viewpoints.
I block offensive people without hesitation usually without any reply. I do not have to tolerate them nor their
abusive communication. They seek to create upset. See my article "Instigators".
They are cowards and hide under anonymity on Twitter and other sites. False names, false pictures. Why
else do they deceive?
I'm not saying every picture has to look just like you but it should not be misleading either.
Anonymity-
Anonymity comes from being afraid, fear. Is this fear reasonable or not, is not a question.
They are afraid of the consequences of being known. Normally there is no good reason for this. If they don't
want to be heard or seen, they should stay off of social sites.
Social implies society, people living together, cooperating, communicating. The very action of creating a
social network account invites view, communication!
The anonymous are insane to the degree they seek to deceive or create upsets. Insanity is not black or
white. It has many shade of gray. You have to decide who your friends are! I block "anonymous" people,
ugly profile pictures etc! It's my opinion "anonymous" people are "Instigators."
Stalkers-
Stalkers are basically the same as an anonymous. Their purposes are insane. If you've had the displeasure
of being a victim, stop.
Not everyone is going to stalk you.
Any half way intelligent stalker can find you anyway. The saving grace is they are usually too insane to do
anything completely or correctly.
And again, your ability to communicate is directly proportional to your ability to live, to survive.
Survive and Create!
Don't let the cowardly insane suppress you into not communicating and down towards death.
Out create them! Communicate more than ever before. Just don't communicate with them. On Twitter block.
In life, block one way or the other.
Should you be an artists, and you are, create your art with more speed, more flare, than ever before!
The insane really can't stand a lot of activity, a lot of communication. By really being alive and
communicating, you are winning.
Only the dead are totally safe from attack. If you're living, live and deal with the insane as you must.
