Responsibility, More on

I've written about responsibility before. This is an expansion and clarification
by way of examples.

This morning I purchased a small salad in a flimsy plastic container. What
made it flimsy are the upper lid connects with the lower by snaps in two

When I purchased it considered asking for a bag but rejected the idea
thinking I'd be careful in putting it in my bag.

As I walked away I partially opened the zipper and put the container into the

Almost immediately realized the salad was probably dumping into my bag. I
opened it further and found  this true. I was mildly annoyed.

I could have blamed the establishment for not automatically putting it into a
bag. No that would not be right. Most people sat down at one of the tables
and ate.

Truthfully, I knew the probability when I purchased. It's almost like I said it
would happen and then I made sure I was right!

I was responsible and the only cause point on the  salad in the bottom of my

Responsibility vs Blame

I'm not talking about blame but I'm talking about responsibility and cause.

Another example, when my son was very young, 4 or 5 years old, he came
down a ramp and tripped over the sleeping dog. He fell an got up crying.

He went to kick the dog for tripping him!

I stopped him (he had accidentally already kicked the dog to begin with).

He was loudly crying and blaming the dog! I questioned him, what did the dog

Eventually, he said the dog did nothing.

I asked him who was running his body when it ran into the sleeping dog?
Eventually, he realized he was responsible and not the dog.

By this point, he was no longer upset and ran off to play.

Pretty much anything in life that someone is ups
et about is something that
they are not being responsible for!

If you don't see how this is true, contact me to gently guide you to a point of
cause and responsibility.

Routinely I say #EverythinWill_B_OK! I believe that is true!

Also, “A person is only as valuable as he aids others in their games of
survival!” Quoting myself :-)
