Day Two of the Box Collection project.

Today, I worked on creating new boxes.  Let me tell you the types of wood I am using. Starting on
the top, going from left to right: Oak, Poplar, Mahogany, Zebrawood, Padauk, Ebony, Purpleheart,
Lacewood and Padauk again. None of these are stained or finished and no color has been added.  

I'll spend day three, sanding, routing the edges to give rounded or other effects.

The boxes are about 6"x 5"x 3".  Some are smaller and some are a bit larger.

This is the first time I've used Ebony in anything except  my art and the piano top at home due to its
cost of over $50.00 per foot.
