This is a short poem I wrote about a very good friend. I hope you enjoy it.
                                                                                      The Man and the Pearl

There was a man who met a girl, a tremendously beautiful pearl.

He’d look at the glow, his blood would flow.

His universe attacked, when the pearl looked back.

Far the man had his own family of pearls, worth worlds.

The girl had her own family of girls, beautiful pearls.

Their worlds did pass, but for a moment only alas.

There was sadness and joy, the man only a boy.

Looking he did, his affinity not hid.

The pearl continued to glow, his blood did flow.

The End.
