Flourish and Prosper

A little girl waits by the door
sun motes shining through
her hair a stunning auburn
her skin pale and smooth
life shines through her eyes
and happiness resounds around her
about her future in life
there is nothing of which she is sure
but she waits patiently and serene
sure that something good is to come
despite the pessimism and suppression
that emits and rises from some
the future awaits and she knows
she will only flourish and prosper
for she has hopes and dreams
her whole life ahead of her
nothing can ever stop her
she will reach her dreams and goals
of that she is positively sure
